How to open a locked door with a screwdriver

Sometimes we get a little dizzy or have misplaced our bunch of keys. We are then stuck outside the house, in front of our door, without doing anything. Do not panic! 1- Basic methods

Using a screwdriver

The screwdriver is mainly intended for opening doors that have an opening button in the middle. Directly insert the fine-tipped screwdriver into the hole in the handle and twist until the door opens.

Using a hairpin

A bobby pin can be the magic bullet to unlock your padlock or lock on your door. To do this, widen your pin until you get a 90-degree angle. Then, enter the hook in the lock and put the pin at the top of the lock. To unlock the lock, make slight movements in the direction of the opening. Gradually, the lock will open.

Using a paperclip

According to this method, we will tell how to unlock a door with a paper clip. First of all, you have to make the paperclip flat enough (the use of the hammer is recommended to make the paperclip flat). Then use a turnbuckle in place of your wrench. 2- Methods for difficult to open doors

Using a ram

This method is a last resort if your door does not want to open using basic techniques. A jackhammer can be used as a ram in this situation. It should be noted that once you go to apply this method, your door will be destroyed.

First, the dimension of your jackhammer should be within two to three feet.

To become a ram, you have to fill it with cement and wait until everything is dry.

Once the ram is ready to use, stand perpendicular to the door, swing the ram, and hit your lock. Repeat these movements until your door opens.

Break down the door

There is a risk of destruction of the door and the lock. Your safety is also at stake.

The important thing to know is that kicking down a door is done with a flat kick, but not with your shoulder. The feet can withstand shocks, and the shoes also play a big role in shock absorption.

You have to position yourself in front of the door. Raise your leg to your knees, which will be slightly bent. Control your movements well and give kicks. Repeat this until the door opens.
